Q: How much do you charge?

A: Call us on 0800 453 626 to discuss your needs and find out about our competitive pricing.

Q: Can you change hard to reach light bulbs in high ceilings?

Yes we can, however we would probably recommend an alternative lamp or light fitting so you would not need the lamp changing as often and in the case of LED Lights 30,000 – 50,000 hours.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, cheques, eftpos and credit card transactions onsite through our Fastpay facilities on completion of the work.  Credit card transactions will incur a 3% bank fee surcharge.  Please also feel free to discuss payment options with us if you are looking at a larger job or are a business.

Q: Do you fix hot water cylinders or should I call a plumber?

If your cylinder is leaking you would need to call a plumber. If you have no hot water give us a call.

Q: What sort of appliances can you help repair? Stoves? Dryers? Washing machines? Fridges?

We can repair stoves, ovens and hobs. For washing machines, fridges, driers and dishwashers you would need to call an appliance technician.

Q: Do you install heat pumps/air conditioning units?

We can wire and connect your heat pump and also arrange for a refrigeration engineer to pipe it.

At Jenco we believe everyone should stick to their own trade, after all you wouldn’t hire a refrigeration engineer to wire your house.

Q: I have an urgent job – how quickly can you get to me?

We can have someone to you within two hours.

Q: Why should I use a Master Electrician?

To become a member of the Master Electricians Association we have to go through a comprehensive audit process. This ensures the members are good enough to carry the ECANZ branding. It’s also backed up by the $10,000 workmanship guarantee.

Q: Does someone have to be home when you are doing a job?

No. We would prefer it if someone was home, however due to people's work and family commitments we understand this is not always possible, so just talk to us about what arrangements can be made.

Q: My light bulbs are always blowing – is this a wiring problem?

Not necessarily, it could be the light fittings or even the lamps you are using. Give us a call and we can discuss your options.

Q: My power fuses are always blowing – can you help?

Yes we can, give us a call.

Worked to get the job done quickly

Had a great experience of Jenco today - really speedy response to our request for help.  The guys were on site within 2 hours and worked to get the job done quickly (before the weather turned).  They did a very tidy job.  I recommend them and will definitely use them again.  Thanks guys.

Great job done by really nice guys! Had an emergency job and Wayne came and sorted it.

I also then needed some more work done (to fix some previous cowboys job they charged for and didn't finish), so I called Jenco again. They were punctual, polite, friendly and informative. Did a great job in less time than they allowed and came in on budget. Highly recommend these guys.

WOW!!! Jenco you guys are AMAZING!!! Our power went out Saturday morning so we rang Vector. Just after 6pm we were informed there was an issue with our connection from our mains to our switchboard and we would have to get an electrician to fix it. It was pouring down with rain and blowing a gale - who on earth would come out and help us?? I rang a lot of 0800 numbers and no one seemed interested. With one last go I rang your number and the phone was answered immediately by Gillian. She advised she would ring her man and get back to me. Two minutes later she rang back to say Wayne was on his way. Within 15 minutes Wayne arrived and got to work.  He fixed the problem and even offered to come back and make sure all went well when Vector reconnected us - what a guy!!! But it didn't stop there. Gillian rang the next morning to make sure our power was on and we were happy with the service. Thank you so much for caring and providing such exceptional service. Honestly you guys are FANTASTIC!!!
